The Privly Foundation recently accepted three students to work full-time on Privly Foundation software as part of the 2015 Google Summer of Code (GSoC). The Foundation experienced a huge surge in GSoC applications this year.

Techno-Activism 3rd Mondays

The Privly Foundation (that means us) has decided to organize Portland's version of Techno-Activism 3rd Mondays. 
 
Techno-Activism 3rd Mondays are meetups on the 3rd Monday of every month (imagine that!) dedicated for folks, both techy and not, to get together and talk about security, privacy, anti-surveilance, and anti-censorship. 
 
Given our current political climate, Techno-Activism 3rd Mondays (TA3M) are taking off at cities all over the world. The first TA3M event was held in NYC and is the brain-child of the Open Internet Tools Projects (OpenITP).
