Sean McGregor

Sean is a Machine Learning PhD student at Oregon State University, and is the lead developer of the Privly Project. Balaji Athreya

Balaji Athreya is a graduate student in Computer Science at Oregon State University studying Software Engineering and Usability. He has been a lead extension developer since October 2011. His Privly work is focussed on the Firefox Extension. He likes filter coffee, programming and Ilayaraja in no specific order.

Jesse is a Machine Learning PhD student at Oregon State University. His Privly work is focused on encryption libraries for the extensions.

Jennifer Davidson

Jennifer is a Community Manager with Privly. She is a Computer Science PhD student at Oregon State University. Her research focuses on older adults in the design and development of open source software. In general, she is interested in how open source communities operate. Aside from research, she enjoys doing outreach with women in technology. She is a Systers member and helps with ChickTech. Sanchit Karve

Sanchit is an anti-malware researcher at McCafee living in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. He develops and maintains the Privly extension for the Opera browser. Aside from development work, he frequents websites that host crackmes to defeat protection schemes of native x86, .NET, Android and native ARM binaries. You'll often find him hiking aimlessly across the hills or at heavy metal gigs when he's away from his machine.

I have been a Web Developer and Graphic Designer since age 12. I use my skills for freelance work in web development, and graphic design. Since joining Privly during the Kickstarter campaign, I have generated new graphics for the campaign, site, and extension. I am always looking for ways to sharpen my skills, and am always designing! I enjoys live concerts and anything that has to do with computers.

Carlos Jensen

Carlos Jensen provides organizational guidance to the Privly project as a board member of the Privly Foundation.

Carlos is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at Oregon State University (OSU). He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York (SUNY) Brockport, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005, where he was a member of the Graphics, Visualization and Usability Center (GVU).

Leslie Hawthorn provides organizational guidance to the Privly project as a board member of the Privly Foundation.

An internationally known community manager, speaker and author, Leslie has over 10 years experience in high tech project management, marketing and public relations. In March 2012 she joined Red Hat, Inc., where she is responsible for Community Action & Impact on the company’s Open Source and Standards team.
